Anyone watching 'The Peripheral' on Prime?

It's keeping my attention (which is always a good sign) while I try to figure out what is going on. Timey-wimey stuff.

 

There's important searching for someone but who and why I either have forgotten or not figured out - and there's a few bad people, with inventive ways to dispose of people they don't like, although I suspect I haven't yet figured out who the goodies and the baddies are. Trying not to have any spoilers in this is quite difficult.

 

Anyway definitely going to carry on watching.

I watched it last week, or was it in the future?  I don't know, and really enjoyed it.  I don't usually like Chloe Grace Moretz all that much, but she played the part well, and it was complicated enough and well-acted enough to keep my attention without baking my noodle too much.  The cliffhanger at the end bodes well for a second series, but whether the studio execs will permit that, is anyone's guess.  It looks hopeful on the IMDb page though, as IIRC there's already a season 2 pencilled-in on the list.

Oh no. A cliffhanger at the end - now you've gone and spoilt it. Seriously though in reading this I find myself looking forward to watching another episode tonight - so I shall.
