BKirwan Posted December 4, 2022 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Photo taken on the 4 november 1944 during the liberation of Terheijden which is north of Breda as already stated. The windmill is known as the "Arend" and is located at nr. 39 Molenstraat in Terhijden . If you scroll forward to number 43 approx. you have the same perspective as the photo . The tank was moving north towards the river Goggle maps Streetview There seems to be somes changes to the house directly behind the Cromwell In the link below you will find a page in Dutch with some more info ; if you use Goggle to translate you should get the jist of it.
