Can't be a reissue of the Smer kit as that was in 1/40 scale while this is announced as a 1/72 kit. So it must be a new tool, although may (or not..) show some influence from previous resin kits...

P.S. of course the Smer kit was a much older tool, having been proposed by Artiplast in the early '70s and probably based on something even older

Sooooo....does that include the Supermarine Scimitar do you know? 🤔

Unfortunately, I do not know any details. Perhaps something more will be known when 4+ finally finishes updating its website and fills the section on CMR models with some data:

It is a copy of the CMR resin kit. Complicated story but the owner of the CMR masters sold the rights to Petr Muzikant to make injection kits of them. Here you even get the two sets of wings which were included to be able to realise a Fokker S12  with nosewheel. landing gear is also included.

I'd never even heard of the brand.

Cheers,

Andre

The only plastic kit ever to be developed by the brand, a general plastics and toy industry here in Brazil. In fact, that’s the kit that introduced me to scale models, in the early 60’s. I believe it was released around 1961-62, not 1963. Other kit releases by Atma Paulista were from Hawk, Monogram and Merit tools.

Looking at the sprues seems very similar to their recent S.211, on which I noticed deeper panel lines compared to their earlier releases. Deeper may not be a good thing but they are also better defined, that is not a bad thing. The plastic seems to suffer from less "scars" compared to my SF.260 too, again a goof thing.

The decals however seem to show certain colours as too "pixelated" for my taste, a problem I've seen in pretty much all my kits from the company in the last few years
