Popular Post stevej60
Hi folk's as soon as I saw this was to be released in the Airfix classics range I knew I had to grab one; well over forty years since a much younger me ran from the Hardware store home to stick it together on a Saturday morning and hang it from the ceiling by afternoon.Probably a bit better finished since that last build. Thanks for indulging me in yet another bout of nostalgia! 76
Farmerboy
Another great build to take us down memory lane, those wing tip fuel tanks are something else! Strange design ideas some people had. Good job!
Ghostbase
Nicely done 👍 This was one of my first 'serious' builds way back when, I must have been mid teens, just loved that dragon artwork! Michael
Hopesdaddy
Nice work on a very vintage kit, I've been contemplating this one for a bit of nostalgia myself.
SAT69
I've always thought the F-80 was a pretty airplane and your model does indeed do it justice.

Pantherhawk27263
Very nicely done!!!! This is one of my favorite Airfix kits. For its time, it is a well detailed kit and goes together well and looks good when it's done. I've been contemplating pulling mine out of the stash and building it. You may have pushed me over the edge of indecision with yours.
ColinChipmunkfan
My build experience of the P80 first time around was remarkably similar to yours Steve. Your new one looks amazing, love the paint job, great finish. Maybe I should have another go. Colin

I'm with you on the memories - albeit it's closer to fifty years for me! I fondly remember this kit as well - I built mine with the dragon too! Memories! Cheers Hans J PS Your model looks great! Lord Riot
That’s a gorgeous finish! Love the different shades of silver, very realistic. Looks a nice little kit that.

kapam
To me, the P-80/T-33 is a real icon among early jets. I never had the Airfix kit, but your work comes up trumps. 👏👏 Inspires me to get going on my Italeri (ex-Platz) T-33.

Mig88
Beautifully finished. I have this one in the stash (bought 22 years ago) and would be happy if it came out anywhere near as good as yours. Miguel
