AliGauld
After a dash of Agrax Earthshade. And some careful positioning and glue. I really don't know what's wrong with me but I got brave. I've got to admit this all fits together nicely. There won't be much filler required. 2996 Victor
Looking great, Alistair, you'll be flinging blue paint around before we know it! Great to know it all goes together without much drama, too! Cheers, Mark

AliGauld
Whilst awaiting paint drying on other stuff I got the canopy masked, the empennage on and some seamwork done. Looks a little bit more like a Spitfire now. I've used Krystal Kear in the camera holes as masking until the paint is done, but I didn't photograph that. Primer will tell if I've got the seams. I wonder why only a few Spitfires had the bulged (bigger oil tank?) lower cowling - if it made a positive difference to performance or operation I would have expected the feature to get rolled into general production. Regards, Adrian Thanks Adrian, Apologies for the late reply though I thought I had done it. We went to see "The Menu" which was a hoot and I can thoroughly recommend it. 5 minutes ago, 2996 Victor said: Definitely! Looking great, Alistair Thanks Mark. AliGauld
Finally got some PRU Blue flung about. Not much admittedly but it's a start. Oh and some flat aluminium. If I get these dry I'll get the radiators in place and then I should be good for some primer. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair
AliGauld
Radiators fitted. A wee word of warning for @2996 Victor the carburettor air intake comes in two pieces but that is not mentioned in the destructions. I'm certain you would have spotted it but just in case. I'll wash the mouldings this evening and I hope to make a start tomorrow..... Cheers, Mark

AliGauld
While I was out in the garage some primer was flashed about. The canopy needs a blend at the front but the seams are good so a bit of rescribing and then some PRU Blue. I'll see if I can get that done before work but I'm not hopeful.
