SoftScience
Hot diggity!!!! An M8 GMC. Maybe a few late model Stuarts to follow? So much for not building in 1/48 anymore. I'm beyond excited!!! This is my favorite AFV
StuartH
Very nice👍 A new one on me and looks ace. Any idea of release date? Just need a US halftrack in 1/48 too!
SoftScience
No idea on release date. They just showed it at Shizuoka. Yes, an M3 half track would be grand!

Bullbasket
It does look very nice. I don't know a great deal about these tanks, but I'm wondering if by scratch building a new turret, an M5 could be produced. Time for some research. John. I'm sure the resin manufacturers are already on it This thing looks a bit soft on detail, but should be a good canvas for aftermarket sets

You'd need to replace the whole hull roof plate and glacis as the M8 turret had a larger diameter turret ring than the M5 and also, because of that larger turret, the roof-mounted crew hatches for driver and co-driver were deleted (hence the large hatches in the glacis). Some M8s were converted to recce/command types by removing the turret. I'll be picking up a couple of these for projects.
