I accidentally bought a FineMolds F-4EJ Kai (meant to get a EJ to make an E) so now I get to build it. Woo hoo.

Absolutely. Then, once done, you'll still need an E as well ;)

Trying to finalize a purchase of a Japanese Rufe, the only enemy plane Canada's defensive forces shot down.

Good luck with your search. There seems to be an interesting story behind your subject choice.

Right, yes, I'm the number 2 on the participant list, the group build is half a year away and I have no idea what to build... at least yet. It will definitely be nothing of my usual subjects, that's for sure!

There's a wide variety of possibilities to choose from V-P and so long as you enjoy working on whatever you decide upon it's all good. Now far be it for me to be colouring your judgement but remember that Seafires of the British Pacific Fleet qualify ;)

Have I mentioned this before?   I fancy building a Thai Harrier.

Maybe a Mitsubishi F1 as well.

I don't recall you mentioning it before but it is worth repeating even if you have :D

Which kit are you thinking to use for your Harrier?

The Airfix 1/72 GR.1.

Are you using the CtA decal sheet for the Thai Navy markings?

That's my intention, although I think I also have a suitable Wolfpack sheet.

It's always good to have spares and options.

Or do a double build

:hmmm:   Interesting thought.  There are two distinct marking schemes.

Hmm, W.W.E.M.D? Joking apart, however, the two schemes will look good together.

Very much looking forward to this GB, got myself 2 builds lined up for starters. The GWH MiG-29 with KPAAF markings.

And a J-7G with a PAF scheme, though I have a photograph of a PLAAF Aggressor J-7E in a beautiful pink/white scheme which I'm sorely tempted to do.

Wouldn't this Aussie Spitfire from Labuan, Borneo be good too? The silvery one, not.

Two interesting subject choices due to their uncommon schemes Luke :speak_cool:

Borneo-based subjects are within our geographic area of interest so yes V-P :D

Very sorry to say this but I will be dropping out of this and all subsequent GBs for this year, I just don't have the time available anymore for a year-round GB schedule 😞 good luck with your builds 👍

Sorry to learn you're not getting the time to model as much as you'd like Alan but hope that the other things taking up that time are enjoyable. You will of course always be made welcome any time you can join us.

Thanks very much, if opportunity allows I would still like to join in at some point.
