Roman Schilhart
Dear fellow Britmodellers, here's the next Sherman for my collection, the M4A3 built from the 1/72 Dragon kit. Painted with Mr.Hobby acrylics, photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. I added sandbag protection from Blackdog (https://blackdog-model.com/t72008-1-72-m4a3-sandbags-1/) . This finely cast resin upgrade comes in two sideparts plus an entire turret (except the gun), making assembly easy. The figure and stowage are from Milicast, the antenna is from stretched sprue. Thank you for your interest! 28

FrancisGL
Hi Roman, It looks great, it could even be a 1/48 or 1/35. Cheers and TC Francis.👍
Peter2
This fine result shows how far small-scale models have come, and further advanced in the hands of a dedicated modeller. It is said that General Patton opposed sandbags as being cowardly, while someone on the Quora site mentions that Steve Zaloga commented in his Panzerfaust vs Sherman (Osprey) that 'Patton had been convinced by his Ordnance officers that sandbags were ineffective and a potential handicap to tank performance due to their weight'.
