Thanks Enzo for all your efforts, pulling all this together is an impressive body of work, and thanks too to the GB hosts. That really is a stacked calendar, and out just in time for any Black Friday sales so I can fill some gaps in the stash! 🤣

The current plan is to enter a build in every GB where I have something which fits already in the stash

Trying to figure out if it's feasible and identify candidates

I'm just going through the stash and finding likely candidates.  It's interesting how so many could cross over into other GB.  I'll see what the stack looks like by the end of the year.   If I recall, 2022 looked daunting until I began to build and sort.  I think I managed over half the selection.  Still at it, as you know.  A lot of my Hasagawa kits are post-1990, so it may be lamented in that GB.  That could very well be a blessing and I seem to have a plethora of the rest.

Like @psdavidson I am using what I have, with exception of the Parrot Rifle for the OoMCZ GB.  That's a new purchase. 😁

Anyone know a source for 1/16th scale US Civil War figurines, preferably resin or plastic?

Of course, any "interesting" new announcements which I put on pre-order could be included if they arrive before the GB starts

Wow, some incredible build lists so far - I'm overwhelmed by the thought of planning to build and having the dedication to finish so many!

My build list is considerably more modest, and yet is probably still too ambitious:

Salty Sea Dog: Arma F4F-4 Wildcat

Recce and scouting: MAC Phonix D.I or Sword Spitfire PR.IV

AIRCO: Kovozávody Prostějov DH5 or Airfix Tiger Moth

Southern Europe: Tamiya Matilda or BREN Carrier

Here Comes the Fleet: Tamiya F4U-1 Corsair

Desert: to be decided

Cheers,

Mark

What is this “or” nonsense, @2996 Victor? What would @Enzo the Magnificent say? 😈

Thanks for the reminder...

And he Drakken STGB will be good too.   It's been sitting on the shelf eying me with its steely Scandinavian eyes for too long!

Over the last few years, probably >80% of my builds have been related to GBs. I do work better with a deadline.

Got the day off so have spent it on my now traditional post Telford / Bunfight sort out of the stash. My aim to to build from the stash. With this in mind my provisional programme is

Dassault: 1/48 Kinetic Mirage 2000N

Classic Japanese: 1/32 Hasegawa F4B & BF2C

Recce and Scouting: 1/35 Master Box Trooper & Scout

Last of the gunfighters: 1/48 Hasegawa F-8 & A-7

Airco and deHavilland: 1/72 Heller Dragon Rapide

Panzer 38(t): 1/35 Tamiya 38(t)

Classic Italian: 1/35 Italeri Crusader lll
Here Comes The FAA: 1/48 Italeri Hawk T1 (FRADU)

B17: 120mm Waist Gunner Figure

Beyond the Karmin line: Eagle Transporter & Mercury Redstone

Desert GB: 1/72 Airfix Blenheim IV

P47: 1/48 Tamiya

Its one of those odd-looking contraptions that just cries out to be built, isn't it?

Yikes, the 3 I committed myself to all overlap at the start of the year... 😬

The bright side is that they are all pre-summer, when my building inevitably pauses anyways. Hopefully Winter 22/23 will be a productive one for me, right into Spring.

Next year is definitely a bumper crop year for GBs for me.  I tallied up 19 GBs that I would like to participate in if I had time...which I know I won't.  I've mapped selected "priority" builds which whittles that down to 7...daisy chained throughout the year.  I'm sure the "priority list" will change, so all interested GBs will remain on the list.  If I happen to finish one early, I may get a bonus build in....but track record this year has been horrendous.  I've managed to finish one, and got one halfway done (RX-7 is done, still need to finish the figure).

I love a good build list!

There are several GBs I hope to join.

Preliminary planning includes:

Salty Sea Dog:

I have a bunch of 1/700 ships so I will do at least one of those. But I also want to do one of my sailing ship kits, either the Alexander von Humboldt or another one; or I might try the 1/72 Berlin rescue boat kit.

Dassault

This is the only STGB or manufacturer-themed GB I'll do next year. I have a Hasegawa Mirage F-1 and some Ecuadorian decals. I found a pic of one carrying Durandals so I'll build that.

Classic Japan

More 1/700 ship kits? I have the Tamiya HMS Nelson for example. I also bought on a whim the old-mould 1/72 F-4 Phantom. And I have a 1/35 Chieftain.

Recon

For this I have a proper Hasegawa F-4 kit, the RF-4EJ. Also a 1/144 RB-47. And for something a bit different, an M551 Sheridan tank which was a recon vehicle.

Transport

I've got big plans for this - I have the Zvezda 1/72 C-130J in RAAF markings, and the 1/144 Roden C-133 with the Thor missile. I'll try to do both of those. Any additional capacity can go to one or more of my numerous airliner kits.

Above the Karman Line

We'll, this is literally my GB so I will try to smash out the builds for it. I've got uncountable suitable kits.

But I think I'm going to build my 1/144 International Space Station kit at long last. It's enormous.

Big year ahead! But I've got to spend the southern summer catching up with my builds in the big test/prototype/special/racer build. I've fallen behind as the end of the year happens but looking forward to a good summer of extra GB action.
