RAGATIGER
Hi there Well I having a conversation with a fellow modeller here down the border and we notice that regarding the CRV7 70 mm rocket pod (yes, we already understand that the actual rocket is Canadian made) but after looking we only found drawings of the actual pod http://rumodelism.com/forum/read.php?f=29&i=22282&t=22276 https://combatace.com/forums/topic/86803-275-inch-rocket-launchers/ But not many photos speciall for RAF and RCAF types like Harrier, Jaguars and F/A-18A (I understand that also the A-10 uses the same rocket but in specific LAU US made) As being a 1/72 Fellowship modeller only found some rocket pods on Hasegawa Aircraft Weapons Set I, then I wonder to ask if there is other source or some model that include those rockets Meaning if the US LAU is ok for RAF types Regards Armando

YK GOH
I'd worked on the CRV7 rocket systems when I was in the Singapore Air Force. The 19-tube disposable LAU-5003 rocket launcher, which has cardboard tubes, is dimensionally the same as the LAU-3. The 6-tube reusable LAU-5002 rocket launcher is dimensionally the same as the 7-tube LAU-68. The LAU-5002 has one tube less for rockets, as the centre tube was occupied by the intervalometer. The SUU-5003 bomb rocket dispenser is dimensionally the same as the SUU-20. The only visible difference between the SUU-5003 and SUU-20, is that the rocket tubes protrude out a bit more on both ends in the former as compared to the latter. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SUU-5003_dispenser.jpg CRV7 rockets, with wrapped around fins, are loaded from the back of the launchers while the American Mk.4 FFARs are loaded from the front. Hope these helps. YK
Finn
Here is a CF-18 with LAU-5003 rocket pods: they were pretty much similar externally to the LAU-3. Jari
