tony.t
Right, so we're not sure which? Quite fancy doing an Idaho Guard C with the starry nose and tail. Tony

Cammer625
Wasn’t it where there was a runaway plane and they tried to shoot it down with their missiles quite unsuccessfully?
LN-KEH
3 hours ago, SAT69 said: What was the battle of Palmdale? The Battle of Palmdale was the attempted shoot-down of a runaway drone by United States Air Force interceptors in the skies over Southern California in mid-August 1956. Two Scorpions from the 437th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron failed to bring down the out of control Grumman F6F-5K Hellcat with volleys of Mighty Mouse rockets, Instead they blew up a couple of civilian vehicles on the ground, damage a number of properties and start some major brushfires that took days to extinguish. Fortunately, no fatalities or serious injuries among the inhabitants of Palmdale due to the 208 rockets fired at the drone, of which only 15 were discovered undetonated afterwards. And the drone flew on undamaged until it ran out of fuel and crashed through some electrical wires on the way down. I don`t think there were any medals or battle honours handed out after this shoot-out. Length: 1.1 m (3 ft 6 in) Weight, loaded: 8.3 kg (19 lb) Weight, warhead: 1.6 kg (4 lb) Thrust: 3,560-4000 N (800-900 lb) Propellant: solid fuel (nitroglycerine-nitrocellulose) Edited November 20, 2022 by LN-KEH 3 3

charlie_c67
According to safari translate, they’re producing several “poison” kits. Should I be worried? 🤔

sofiane1718
Hi! Anyone knows if we'll see the release of the B787-9 (03815)? I know it's the zvezda mold so maybe it is cancelled? Would have loved to have this kit with white plastic though!
modelldoc
That is the problem of the situation at the moment. Sanctions from the EU are for the trade with Russia. So no company in Germany can trade with any Russian companies. You see that also, the 03826 Yak 130 (ex-Zvezda) was offered for July 2022, but nothings happens. So no kits from Zvezda more in the Revell program. modelldoc 3

I Google translated it myself and could not find this comment.... I found it if you're still interested : Schön, dass uns Revell immer wieder mit alten Matchbox-Schätzchen in Nostalgieschwärmerei versetzt! It's great that Revell always puts us in nostalgia with old Matchbox treasures! It's not a bad translation, even if the English doesn't flow particularly well. Caerbannog
Well - some nice reissues as the big scale E-Type (but the retail price ...). From the list the only kit I am interested in is the new Series III Landi as Hardtop, which is a must buy for me. Will be interesting how Revell is replicating the wire mesh in front of the headlights. Beluga is nice but Super Guppy would be awsome 😉
