Looks good from here Alistair.

They don`t arf find some silly places to put those ejector pins, but they have too I suppose.

Nearly done though.

Stay safe.

Simon.

Thanks Simon,

Aye that they do and to be fair it wasn't a hard fix.

Some work has been done on the main wheels.

Once that dry I'll get the Rubber Black on and should be able to get the undercarriage fitted which just leaves the pitot and a final clear coat to do.

Getting there, but I've just noticed that I've not quite dealt with that ejection pin mark.

Ach, well I'll just need to sort it later.

Cheers,

Alistair

Once everything is settled that will get a matt coat, the prop will get a satin coat which will leave the underside and nav lights to be painted and the aerial rigged.

Not too much to do now.

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,

Alistair

Looks great.  You’ve worked your way through this one steadily and the result is a beaut.  It’s quite striking actually, such an unusual scheme… just like your choice for the PR Spit.  Always nice to see the unusual.

After everything is dried and tidied up if necessary I'll rig the aerial and that, as they say, will be that.

Thanks for looking,

Alistair

Well that looks really splendid Ali, well done! I’ll bet your heart was in your mouth when easing that masking off the canopy! It’s turned out beautifully. 👏

Thanks very much. That is extremely kind of you.

The mask set wasn't cut particularly well by Special Hobby and I was very apprehensive peeling them off.

There were a couple of touch ups needed and a bit of toothpick work but nothing major and it's better than I expected. :D

Cheers,

Alistair

WIP Here.

Finally my heartfelt thanks to all of you who took the time to look, react and comment on this.

Your encouragement has been invaluable.

A special shout out to @galgos and @mark.au without whom there would have been a lot more decals used.

Thanks for looking,

Cheers,

Alistair

I'd love to see what you can do with one or two or maybe more....

Well okay, then! ;) I'll either have another go at the all-black tropical night fighter, or a Finnish example.

Cheers,

Mark

Another masterpiece Alistair. You’ve really got the hang of squirting on the yellow!

Craig.

Thanks very much Craig,

It's all down to the Colourcoats. A couple of light coats and it just works.

Fabulous result Alistair.  Once you paint markings you never go back!

Thanks Mark,

I don't think I'll go back now unless absolutely necessary.

Hunting about trying to get MRP Yellow, Blue and Red to speed things up a bit but they appear to be sold out everywhere.

Ah well, I can wait.
