rockpopandchips
The Base of this kit is another Gundam, the 1/144 Kashatriya, I see all sort of possibilities in these wing binders and this will be my 3rd kit bash scratch build using these as a base. This time it an insect that's looking very scorpion like. The legs are the parts that hold the wings to the body of the Gundam, their are 2 different stylise, the smaller dark one are a reprint of a 3rd party kit and the hind legs that are lighter a bit larger are Bandai originals. The head was made from all Gundam parts as well, a gun scope, a foot and some arm armour. The tail is all Gundam parts as well, apart from the needle that I'm not sure I keeping as yet. The tail and legs are not fixed so still time to change this about yet.

rockpopandchips
Cheers chaps. Made some manipulater type feet for the legs and in the spirit of all Gundam kits I have made a morter support version by swapped out the tail section. This one is shorter to increase speed of deployment and carries a large calibre mortar gun. Also the original gatling gun now can fold away.
rockpopandchips
So I have settled on this, all guns attached but still with the removeable tail section giving it look very different looks. one scorpion the other very cockroach looking I think. The under side of the abdomen now has some eggs or mines now as well. A blast of dark primer and it not looking to bad, I still need to rub down a few part and then onto the painting, probably going with two different colour changing paints in a camo pattern on the shall, that should look very weird if nothing else. A sickly skin tone for the underside and black legs.
Hunter Rose
That looks cracking with the dark primer tying it all together! And I like the green bits

rockpopandchips
I have gone for what i call the razzle dazed paint scheme, using iridescent paints. Needs a gloss coat to really make them shine.😎
Pete in Lincs
That came out looking rather good. The camo adds something to it too. What size would it be? Do you have a figure to stand alongside it to show this please ?
