Harry_the_Spider
In the mood for buying more kits that I won’t build any time soon. So, who does the best F15 in 1/72? I have done the Italeri, Linky to RFI but I want something with a one-piece wing and upper fuselage to avoid the seams where the wings join the body. Any ideas? Jabba
GWH kits are very good. A few are being built in the F-15 GB at this moment.

theplasticsurgeon
One that fits your limitation of - a one-piece wing and upper fuselage to avoid the seams where the wings join the body is Academy only let down by rubbish decals. Airfix and Hasegawa all have separate wings.
Harry_the_Spider
Thanks. Had a look in the GB and the Hasegawa one looks to go together quite will. I may take a punt on it. -
Hook
RoG's new F-15E is rather fetching, as long as you replace the "Tiger King"-like markings. Cheers, Andre
charlie_c67
Ah but is it a true E or just a D with extra bits. Apparently there is a difference according to those in the know. I believe the new F-15E from Hasegawa is correct in this regard whereas the older one isn’t. (Check scalemates for dates!)

The RoG is a correct E, all Hase's are dressed up D's AFAIK. Cheers, Andre
Slater
How different externally is the new "EX" from the older "E"?
