Is this overall Gunship grey or is it Euro with very hard to see demarcations ? The reason I ask is the plane looks to be one solid color except for the vertical surfaces ? Where it appears to have a splodge of green ?

It's SAC's version of the Euro scheme or as we called them The Dark Vark. There is some gunship gray along the bottom but very little.

Caracal's sheet 48111 has that very aircraft and as the paint guide shows only the bottom of the aircraft has gunship gray FS36118.

The plan for me is to do at least 2 Dark Varks from the sheet. All in all I'm looking at 5 FB-111A/G kits in the future to cover the 380th, 509th Bomb Wing and the 428th FS 27th FW before their retirement and across the pond to Australia.
