28ZComeback
Hello gang, I watched a YouTube video where the builder of the Tamiya He/219 Uhu uses a "paint pen" to achieve a series of "squiggles" and loops to achieve a realistic mottle finish. The paint pen is identified by the author as "Montana Pen" yet the link provided goes to a paint pen with pre-filled acrylic paint. Does anyone know of where one can find refillable paint pens capable of administering acrylic paints mixed by the builder? Thank you!
psdavidson
Amazon (at least in the UK) have them available, including ones by the brand you mentioned, Montana /P
Casey
I would go with Amazon, they have the Montana ones too, but I would stick with empty ones only, to fill them with some good acrylics high flow paints Those work: https://goldenpaints.com/products/colors/high-flow This way you can have pen filled in with RAF Dark Earth Or PRU Pink if you really have to. I tried that and I just decided to stick with airbrush or just brush - more economical and versatile. Once you fill a marker with color, you cant really reuse it, while brush or airbrush you just wash. Edited October 22, 2022 by Casey 1
