Anteater
From the WIP here: It's time to unveil the terrible Transit Camper. I don't know why people fly away to expensive foreign holiday destinations when all you need is a reasonably priced camper van. Home is where you park it, and all that. There wasn't much sun to be chased this morning, but there was a good layer of thick Peak District mist. The sunshine will be back again in 6 or 7 months so I shouldn't complain. In the meantime, here it is: It's quite habitable inside, some mod-cons... I'll admit the outside is a little scruffy but the pop-top pops so all is well. That'll do you. Although of course, the only thing better than one scruffy Transit is two scruffy Transits... ANTEATER OUT.
Vesa Jussila
Really nice. Good job to make look like this.
Pete in Lincs
Sunchaser. Probably couldn't chase a three legged dog! Simply brilliant grotbox. Love it.
Marco F.
Fantastic result. Seems like a lot of camping holidays were spent in this Transit. So much great looking details to be seen. Congratulations
JeroenS
Brilliant. I love it. I like the tape and the expertly applied Bondo around the door handle. Next time I see this kit I might pick one up.
keefr22
Brilliant!! I'd like a real one like that - fancy building it...?! Keith

Neddy
Inspired creativity, brilliantly executed. Every detail is gloriously awful. I love the taped-up front flasher lens - and that carpet! Oooh that carpet... I've really enjoyed following the build and the end result is.....a beautiful grot-box.

Richard E
Excellent and imaginative work and a very realistic replica of the type of vehicle that, once-upon-a-time, was a common sight on the roads.
Windy37
Beautifully done replica of a once everyday sight . I bet a real Transit like yours would still command a hefty price tag , terrible or not ! Gary.
galaxyg
Excellent. Could easily pass for 1:
Bobby No Mac
That's pure filth... just how I like it. I love the small details - gaffer tape, traces of primer and an on-going rust problem. I bet its next MOT is going to be pricey. It's been a pleasure to follow this build. Any plans to complete the trilogy?
Toftdale
Nothing terrible about that, fantastic job and absolutely full of character - Andy
Anteater
Thanks for all the kind words. @Bobby No Mac: Who said anything about a trilogy? 😆 It's not out of the question, the problem is there's so much potential with the kit it could be a quadrilogy, a quintilogy, a...

desert falcon
Fantastic work and you’re absolutely right, why would anyone jump on a plane to Spain if you could spend 2 weeks on the “sunny” countryside in camper like that 😁
bigbadbadge
Oh yeah, that is awesome, you have captured the ratty look perfectly, the interior looks wonderful too. Great work Chris
Solexman
That looks Brilliant. Not dissimilar to a Bedford cf dormobile I had 30 years ago! 😂 That was in similar condition. Well done. 👍
dnl42
Very nicely done. Home is very much what you park it!
FunkyChiken
Mr Eater, what a fantastic build! I love the great Britain map too, I'm sure my parents had a copy.
Keeff
What a great build! All the the small details make this superb! 👌 That said, if I came across the real thing, not sure I'd want to smell the interior if the outside is anything to go by! 🤢 Keith 😁
Old John
Brilliant job That's the way a transit should look. Love the detail on it
