Kari Lumppio
Danke, dov! I remember the LSP thread but good to have direct link to it. It also reminded me about the Ju 88 landing gear colour which is grey. Visited Gardermoen museum this Summer and saw the restored Ju 88 fuselage there. And the main landing gear. In real world it did not look like RLM 77 to me. I wonder if the tone is RLM 63 Grau like for Do 17? From the Dornier factory paint list Oberflächenschutz Do 17 "Fahrgestellssttreben und Kotflügel 1 x DKH Ölgrund grün L 40/41 spritzen 1 x DKH Sichtschutzdecklack grau Nr. 63 spritzen" (landing gear struts and mud guards) Cheers, Kari Edited October 19, 2022 by Kari Lumppio
dov
@Kari Lumppio, the color of landing gear is it RLM 02? Or the grey version of 63? I found also a link to the manual in original German via a Russian website. I can give you the link. To obey:: The additional control stick is usually stored at the right side wall. The bomb aimers seat also, complicated to store. The tear gunners seat also stored at the right wall. The interior of the bola, rear downward gunner, has interior like RLM 02 according to the thread. The curtains of the windows are multiple explained. Happy modelling
Antti_K
Hello dov and Kari, you might already know that original manuals for JU-88 are available at Finnish Air Force Museum's Digital Archive in here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Ng9Vk6N373gbXu9KP4L3ri1eKiKIpLEO Choose the link "Saksankieliset" to read the originals in German language. Information about colours included in the general airplane description. Cheers, Antti
dov
Hallo Thanks @Antti_K, here is the other link for the Ju-88 A-1 http://www.airwar.ru/other/manuals/[aviation] - [manuals] - Ju 88 A-1 Betriebsanleitung.pdf The surprise for me was: Many details are different from all kits, available now. Many details in present lits simply omitted. Many details I can not change, so I still try to make some compromise. The guns, when the aircraft is at ground in a prked position, are not installed! How to do? Just with leather protective at the holes? What is your idea? Happy modelling
