Father’s Day gift - Merkava Mk 1 (Tamiya 1:35)

My son, knowing my hobby, gave me this as a Father’s Day gift last month. It’s well outside my usual subjects, so it made for a refreshing change. I also learnt a lot along the way (thanks @Bullbasket @Milan Mynar @FrancisGL ). Finished with markings straight out of the box using brush painted Vallejo Model Air Sinai Grey for the main colour and a variety of washes to make it look a bit used, but not abused. That's a beauty! I'm no expert armour builder but do like to tackle the odd tank now and again as a refreshing change from the norm of aircraft kits. The Tamiya models do make a perfect pallet cleanser. I really like the look of the Merkava and you've done a cracking job here...and also goes to show that you don't need an airbrush to get quality results. Fine work all round 👍👍
