Can she catch Funnelwebs?

No but the local moth community is living in terror.

Any stories of me completely smitten with the little beast is a complete lie.

That's a cute little kitten!

My bloke was murder on the local wildlife.

Gidday, unfortunately this true in Australia. Cats are not indigenous here and the local wildlife has almost no defense against them. We love cats, have always had one or two and will probably continue the tradition for the rest of our lives. And I acknowledge that in years past we were guilty of letting them loose outside also. But now they stay inside all the time or go outside into the large enclosure we've made for them. They adapt to this restriction very quickly we've found (one cat I'm sure was agoraphobic), and the birds and other native wildlife have blossomed here because of it.

Regards, Jeff.

Our dear Dolly has been on this earth 19 years and 17 of those years were with us. She's been with us so long she is literally part of the furniture

I didn't realize that Batman was quite so satanic.

No need to. I think most cats and dogs need their 'spot'. Regards, Jeff.

Miss Ella is growing like a weed though I'm not really surprised, she eats like a Labrador.

Tabs, always a reluctant photo subject, this image camera poked between curtains and shot through double glazed windows so a little "soft" but she still spotted it

I just thought I'd share a pic of our sooty now he's reached 7 months old

And rarely stands still long enough to get a pic.

So here he is complete with a rather fluffy tail

Why is it that cats always have that 'Did I give you permission to take my picture' look?

Well they might not if you actually did ask...😋

Hey chaps. It is, with a broken heart, that I bring news of The Great Grey Beastie's passing. Over the past couple of weeks, he's got thinner and thinner, eating loads but it went straight thru, drinking a lot and not peeing. Yesterday he got a lot worse, so we went to the vets. Lots of poking and prodding, which he took with his usual friendliness, but the vet reckoned she could feel a tumour up under his ribs and the kindest course of action was to help him on his way. He laid his head in my hand, laid down and passed away without a sound.

Hells teeth, I miss him. I don't sleep so well and he and I talked for hours. Last night was the first in so many years he wasn't there.

God speed Frranko, you get them damned pigeons!

Regards

Pete

You have to remember that you've clearly given him a loving home and a great life over all the years he's been with you.... you just can't do better than that, none of us can.

RIP old mog...

Had to make the same decision last year with my mate Patch. I still miss that great big grumpy lump of a cat.

You have my deepest of condolances.

Been there done that, quite a few times, so we understand how you feel. You did the right thing. Just remember the good times. Regards, Jeff.
