Faraway
Day Four. Coming on nicely. I've added a few little bits and bobs and railings to the deck house. And then the bridge etc. I have to say, I AM enjoying this build, Black Cat Model kits go together SO well. Jon

In this scale 1/350 she is 53/8" long. I have to say that 1/600 is my lower limit. Jon
robgizlu
Wow - that is excellent - she really is a miniature frigate Rob

Gidday, yeah I know that 1/600 is not everyone's favorite scale although I like it, and the choice of model kits is very limited but having started in it many years (decades) ago I've stuck with it for uniformity. Faraway
That's about all the deck fittings, just the guns to assemble and fit. I've fitted the froward gun. Then the mast and rigging.

Courageous
That is one small and very busy looking vessel, nice. Stuart
Faraway
Guns located. Next to be fitted is the mast and then rigging, I'm going to use 0.1mm wire for all of it, which will be a first as I usually use stretchy lycra stuff. Bertie McBoatface
It's getting so detailed up now that it reminds me of those grains of rice with the Lord's Prayer written on them. 1
ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Jon, she's looking great. And that's a lot of AA fire power for such a small vessel. Any enemy fighter/bomber looking for easy targets must have got a shock. Regards, Jeff.
