Tail-Dragon
Here's the first of my double HA-1112 "Battle of Britain" movie builds. It is a highly modified Hobbycraft kit, built to go along with my previously posted Hurricane, and Spitfire from the movie (best aviation movie of all time, IMHO). Hope you like, thanks for looking, Colin build log: HA-1112 build ... please forgive so many pictures, but I'm rather happy with how it turned out! 43

Jeddahbill
This is excellent! I especially like the subtle weathering, very realistic. Too many times I have over weathered a model so it looks like a model of a model rather than a model of a real aircraft! IanC
Absolutely superb, and very evocative. Falke: "Remember, you've only got 30 minutes over there."

stevehnz
That turned out beautifully. You're quite right about it being the best aviation movie ever & you've caught a small piece of it to a Tee. 👍 Steve.

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Great work on this. I must admit I saw “Red 6” and thought why is Jek Porkins flying a Messerschmitt ? He’s supposed to be flying around the Death star in an X-wing ?

kapam
Wow, I love it! It inspires me to dig out my half-done Special Hobby (1/72) Buchon and get it finished. If I could get it to look anything like this, I'd be well pleased. Oh, and I agree with you about the BoB movie - I saw it at the cinema when I was about 6 years old and loved it ever since. 👏👏 Edited October 11, 2022 by kapam
Rabbit Leader
Like others have mentioned, that’s one well made and photographed Buchon. Very well done, it looks great from all angles. Cheers.. Dave (BoB movie lover as well).
SafetyDad
Very very nice. As others have said, beautiful paintwork and weathering Take a bow sir! SD
Spitfire31
Beeootiful 'Emil'! Very convincing. Now it just needs a little diorama with pilot, director, camera crew and camera dolly on a rail track. 😉 Superb work! And I agree about the movie, of course. Kind regards, Joachim
