Smashing model there! I love the type A1 roundels on top of the wings, it symbolises the calm before the storm for me.

It'll make a lovely companion for this model! I think the prototype's wing construction was significantly different to the production Mk.I wing - I'm sure someone can chip in with more info.

I believe there are quite a lot of differences between the prototype and even the earliest production Mk I's, also that K5054 was modified during trials. There are the means to build it in 1/48 out there, it's on the list!
