Enzo the Magnificent
Meteor F(TT)8 from the Airfix 1/48 kit, built in 2018 for the RAF Centenary GB. There is a very good chance that this subject will make another appearance in this GB, albeit in a different scale.

Just build something similar and display them together at the end.

PhantomBigStu
As both the ones in my thread will be raf and replacing it on the shelf I’m inclined to pick up the xtradecal sheet and do the Israeli one…..
theplasticsurgeon
All 1/72. First the single seaters. First the Airfix F3, this one built about 1988. 616 Sqdn. Same model repainted in distemper, 2008. I now think this should be properly painted gloss white. Another copy of the same kit, built 2008. 74 Sqdn. Frog F4. MPM Meteor Trent. Xtrakit F8, built 2008. Xtrakit F8, built as a Reaper. Then the two-seat trainers. Xtrakit T7, RAF 29 Squadron. Xtrakit T7, built for John Holder. Xtrakit T7, built for Alex Walsh. Special Hobby T7.5 G-ANSO Now the NightFighters. First my first Matchbox NF14, built about 2005. Same model repainted as Jet Age's NF14. Second copy of Matchbox built early 2007 as WS774 for John Holder. Third, fourth and fifth Matchboxes built simultaneously. All as WS774 for these likely lads, who restored her. Xtrakit, as Jet Age's NF13 and another copy of WS774 - for my collection.

ththtttu7
Matchbox 1/72 AWA Meteor built as TT.20 WM224. I built this 10 years ago, and added an Aeroclub towing winch sometime after these photos were taken. This shows '224 earlier in it's target towing life. At some point, it suffered a hit from a stray cannon shell in its rear fuselage. Resulting in the aircraft receiving a complete rear fuselage from a different aircraft that had a ground incident. If you look at photos of '224 taken after it was sold in the 70's, this is why the dayglo striped pattern on the rear fuselage doesn't match the block dayglo pattern on the rest of the fuselage. 825
Gloster Meteor T7 completed as WS301 of the Station Flight at RNAS Yeovilton in 1967. Xtrakit model brush painted with Revell Aquacolour Gloss Black and an unremembered combination of white, red and fluorescent red for the Dayglo. Transfers from an Xtradecal Meteor T7 sheet. The kit was part built and lay on the shelf for a few years and the GB was the impetus to finish it. It was well past the 25% stage hence here and not the main gallery.
