Harold55
Well they certainly know how to make excellent large kits. So now I'm anxious to see if this is going to be in 1/48 ❤❤. I have built a couple of their newer kits and am impressed with their quality.

troschi
Hopefully not only a Mi-8MT/Mi-17 but also a “classic” Mi-8T. Hey, and what about rivets this time?

Homebee
Usually well informed as reliable source about Zvezda products, scalemodels.ru, says it's a Mi-8MT/Mi-17 in 1/48th scale. http://scalemodels.ru/news/15649-novaja-razrabotka-ot-zvezdy-1-48-mi-8mt-mi-17.html To be followed. Lusitanian
I truly hope they will do an earlier Mi-8 variant with the longer engine intakes. This model kit has been on my ‘wish list’ for many years! Best wishes!
Marlin
Nice. I'll be adding one to the stash. /Bosse
bentwaters81tfw
At last! I was given an ancient Mi-8 kit by a Russian sea captain 50 years ago. White plastic, light green transparencies and pink rotor blades. It was basic and around 1/40 scale. Sadly long gone. Now a replacement beckons. 1

As I see, this is an early MT. Watch the engines and the tail rotor. Its a 17. However its shown with short side tanks with 3 straps, like most of Mi-8Ts had.
exdraken
great to see this one! I did not buy the Su-25 kit as of now.... and most likely will also not rush for this one.... let's see anyways first how availability will be in Europe! markings? who operated early MTs? (or who did not ) some additional thoughts here: https://dnmodels.com/all/mi-8mt-zvezda-in-quarter-scale/ 1

Shorty84
Zvezda kits are still easy enough to get in Europe. Bought their latest Yak-9D, Il-2 and Su-25 this summer via Bulgaria (Hobbylandbg.com) and as of today they still have the latest Zvezda kits in stock. Cheers Markus

I would probably suspect that Zvezda sales in Europe might even be up this year and if they continue with these great releases rightly so!
