RidgeRunner
Nice. One of the first kits I built in the 1960s. If I remember it was a red and blue(?) Antarctic machine?

I did one of those too, probably about the same time. The blue/red should in fact have been black/orange, & seeing as Airfix are going to re-release this in their vintage classics range, especially after seeing @Ratch's, I'd be keen to have another go at it. The Penguins could be the problem. Ā Ā Photo from here.Ā Steve. 3
Ratch
I remember seeing one drop into the sea off Great Yarmouth in the 60s, a few days later we saw it recovered on the dockside. I'd quite like to do another in a yellow, rescue scheme.

jean
Hi Ratch, Ā you are churning them these days, and I missed this model of yours altogether! Indeed a very different color I was not aware had been used on Whirlwinds. A bit like the Admiral's barge green on Seahawks. Ā Great show and keep on having fun! Ratch
It probably should be Admirals Barge Green, but I didn't have anything suitableĀ š„“
