Courageous
Here is my recently completed interpretation of MisterCraft's (KP) Piper L-4H Grasshopper on floats in 1/72. With so much glazing, I decided some extra detail was needed in the cockpit, not that there is much extra to put into it. From walkaround pics, the cockpit bracing needed correcting, belts and bits added and doors to be opened. IMHO the kit decals were overscale and replacements were obtained. Build log here: Thanks for looking. Stuart
Samuraiwarrior
Hi Stuart, That looks nice. Nice to see it so well presented, 'ready for its next operation' The paint job is very good and appealing. Thanks for sharing Kevin

Lightningboy2000
Superb work Stuart. Excellent work in masking up that canopy & painting the interior, tricky job in 1/72. Would be interesting to know where that would have been based. Nice clear sunny waters. Martin
Spitfire31
Very neat Grasshopper in a very attractive setting! I could think of various figure embellishments on the pier – the pilot sitting there with a fishing rod, or maybe enjoying a picnic lunch with his girlfriend? Nice work indeed! Kind regards, Joachim
Courageous
@Samuraiwarrior @wellsprop @Jochen Barett @Pete in a shed @Wulfman Cheers guys, much appreciated. @Lightningboy2000 thanks Martin, painting the cockpit was no big deal, so little detail to worry about. As to where, I'd like to think somewhere like tge Philippines. @Spitfire31 thanks, appreciated. Like you're thinking Joachim, biggest problem there is finding the figures...
