Red Arrows could learn a thing from them Pity they were never able to get all five 707s in the air at the same time but the photos of four with the two Vulcan prototypes is still impressive. Just means I'll have to do the Vulcan prototype soon to go with them. On 26/10/2022 at 22:31, Mike N said: They're looking great! Thanks Mike. I've not had much time on these due to work getting in the way, but have managed to get the paint on tonight. The first 707 707B 707A with the Vulcan style cranked wing leading edge 707A - the paint is still wet! 707C two seater I'll leave these overnight for the paint to harden off and remove the masking tomorrow. BritJet
Thanks for the encouragement. The orange one is sitting in the naughty corner being kept warm while the second coat of paint dries - the first coat took nearly a week so I'm not holding my breath..... These four have all had a couple of coats of clear gloss ready for the decals and are on their undercarriages. Shouldn't take long to finish them off now and then I'll sort the orange one once I can handle the paintwork. Steve

Col.
Hopefully your second coat of orange goes better Steve. In the meantime it's good to see the others enjoying a quick dance - is that an eightsome reel going on or are they round an imaginary maypole? Col.
They certainly do all look good together Steve and getting a greater sense of identity with their individual markings going on.

BritJet
Thanks, I really like the idea of a group build within a group build, perhaps it needs to be one for the future? Steve

BritJet
Thanks, luckily they're fairly small so don't take up a lot of shelf space. Steve
