Tokyo Raider
It appears the box is and F35A and one model is an F35B STOVL variant. So the two new kits are an F35 A and a B? I have a Meng, but will need these two tamiya kits... Edited September 30, 2022 by Tokyo Raider

JohnT
Jadlam sent me an email earlier that made me blink a bit. - "Tamiya Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II 1:24 61124" 1/24 I thought Tamiya 1/24 I thought Only £70 odds in price and I thought perhaps I smell something not quite right here - once my brain kicked in and I looked hard at the box top Sadly only 1/48 and not 1/24 That said it will be a cracking kit if Tamiya have anything to do with it. Buy one and enjoy it !

Scooby
This is great news! I’ll be buying a F-35A for sure. Have they announced the second kit yet? I don’t think the second announcement is the Tamiya boxing of the Italeri F-35B as some suggested here.

PattheCat
I'm always eagerly awaiting new Tamiya plastic. A Tamiya made 1/48 F-35A shall certainly build and sell very well. Not sufficiently interested by the subject, though. Let's see the bright side, now I can put money aside and I won't have to choose between the forthcoming Dora Wings Beaver AND the Airfix Anson. Wait ..... that's If I don't yield to temptation before that.

GRIM REAPER
I think it is the new tool 1/12 bike they just announced. A Ducati of some kind.
fittedkitchens
Quote I think it is the new tool 1/12 bike they just announced. A Ducati of some kind. You might be right, but I think this has been on their October announcement page for a week or so. Basically, fingers-crossed for a last minute announcement. 😁 There's been no sign of any bar the F-35 on the usual kit news sites
