Not my area Dave but I do peek into enough armour threads to know we have some very knowledgeable chaps on here so questions asked are sure to get answered well. Welcome along anyway from an antipodean half Scot. (My maternal Granddad was burn in Edinburgh)

Welcome aboard! Great decision to join the forum. It's full of friendly people who are happy to share hints and tips. 

 

Just a word of caution.  Don't listen to anyone else.  1/72 WW2 fighter aircraft is the only way to go.  Everything else is just a distraction!!😉
