Windy37
For you all to inspect , a classic Porsche 911 , this time an SC RS Group B rally car from 1985 . This is a Nunu kit ( always makes me smile Nunu …. ) and I was expecting the usual high quality and engineered standards I have come to expect from this stable of manufacturers . However , as I have discussed in the WIP I did with the build , the rear of the car just doesn’t fit properly . I won’t dwell on the problems here though as the majority of the kit is easy to build and well detailed . I used a Reji decal kit to create the car driven by legendary Irish driver Billy Coleman on the 1985 Circuit of Ireland Rally , in full Rothmans colour scheme . Thanks to @galaxyg for kindly providing the Cibie spotlights Thanks for looking Gary.
Spiny
Very nice build, and the back end doesn't really give witness to the fights you had with it.
keefr22
Despite the trials and tribulations Gary, that's another cracking rally car you've turned out! Lovely Porker! 👍 Keith
Windy37
Thanks ! Usually , the camera picks up too much bad detail , but this time , the badness has been nicely hidden from the camera’s lense ! Gary .

stevehnz
That has come up really well Gary. I know the hassles you had with its back guards & bumper but it is not obvious & does not detract from the overall effect of it, that being "Blooming Marvellous" 👍 Steve.

ceeb555
Hi Gary i noticed your reply to Deanali regarding his Pond Metro, that you wanted to see a Rothmans Metro. I have built this ( plus the David Llewelyn Circuit of Ireland Metro and Pond Metro). Unfortunately being new to this I do not know how to post photos on the site. Are we allowed to exchange Email addresses. I don’t want to break any rules but I can send you pictures by email if we can. I only have an iPad currently but am getting a box computer soon so hope to be able to send photos from that once I learn how to post them on Britmodeller chris

Use that to message me . There's always people asking for photo posting advice , which can be found in the FAQ section on the home page . I use Flikr if that helps a bit . Gary .
