This is a good looking Spitfire. I am not a Spit boffin, but I always thought that a Spit V had 3 exhaust stubs only... Whatever, it is a lovely Spit. This particular Spitfire was the personel machine of a Group Captain, and not a front line plane. Used at the end of the war with some improvement, like the 6 exaust tubes.
