arfa1983
Trumpeter kit. An extremely good kit that I highly recommend. I didn't weather this but I should probably go back and give it a little pin wash. Cheers, Arthur 42
ForestFan
Very nice tidy build, great looking aeroplane
Matt W
That looks really great. Honestly, I wouldn’t pin wash it, those panel lines look perfect as they are. The F106 looks fast even standing still!
binbrook87
Very nice indeed! And I agree with the comments above that no wash or weathering is required as these machines were kept really really clean. A lovely build 👍👍
Tokyo Raider
I know pin wash looks cool, but you dont see all panels 'pop' in photos of real aircraft. A more restrained approach is more realistic. At 1/48 scale, panel lines are not visable in photos ( like standing 48ft away). It looks perfect as is... great job!
MBM
100% agree with the comments above I think a pin wash would look to stark and a little fake but you've done a truly stunning job with it. If you're seriously considering thinking of weathering it though possibly the oil paint dot technique in the middle of the panels (not sure of the proper name!) might work and be a lot more subtle due to the level of control you can get with it? feifeitim
Fabulous build and I too think you've got the weathering spot on. I'm also dead impressed with the clarity of the canopy - that is excellent!
Alpha Delta 210
I absolutely love it and agree with all of the above comments about the weathering. In my opinion, a pin wash would give your gorgeous scale model the appearance of a die-cast toy.
