Heart Failure
Converted the AZ model MD500E to the Philippine Airforce MG 520. This particular aircraft carries the number 512 which has a shark mouth painted in front. The front doors are removed, cockpit scratch built other than the floor and rear bulkhead, the cockpit console was corrected as its sitting very low. The main rotor base assembly is scratch built as this area is bare on the stock kit. The FN Gun pod and the LAU rocket launchers are also scratch built. Camo is painted using masking tape and airbrushed. The shark mouth is also airbrushed. Thanks for dropping by.

Spitfire31
Remarkable modelling and finishing! Only the shallow focus depth reveals its tiny scale. Kind regards, Joachim
ForestFan
Fantastic! Don’t know how you’ve managed this tiny build, yet alone paint the camo!

Sky Keg
You never realize just how small this subject is until it is posed next to a bottle of Tamiya paint. The results are superb!!! Mike

Bangseat
Stunning work on a tiny subject! Your pictures remind me of insect photography, where you can see their little hairy legs in alarming detail. At least your subject stayed still...
Bertie McBoatface
It may have a shark mouth but I bet that camouflage was a bear to do. Very good result.
Winded Penguin
Are you or were you an indentured watchmaker as your day job? Because, I'm truly struggling to comprehend human fingers cutting the masking tape for that miniature shark's teeth front end 🙂
