GiampieroSilvestri
This is a Hobbycraft 1/48 scale DHC-2 modified into an interpretation of the Turbo Beaver some years ago.The front of the engine was taken from a Roden Grumman Mohawk.I cannot remember where the upper part of the cowling, the rudder and the stabilizer under the fuselage were taken from.I think the cowling is from a Special hobby Fiat G55. Bertie McBoatface
Oh this takes me back! I once flew in one of these, though not the turbo, my only seaplane experience. My only experience of simultaneous air- and sea-sickness too. Nostalgia aside, this is a lovely build. Good to see a conversion.
