Designed to be catapult launched at zeppelin then flown by radio control to contact. 1/72 PM F86 in Turkish display team the Swans colours. 1/48 Scratchbuilt Albatross CIX three were built this one was used as Bon Richthofens personal transport. 1/48 Scratchbuilt Sage type 2. 1/48 Eduard DFW Floh. 1/48 Scratchbuilt Junkers J6 1/32 Scratchbuilt Bristol racer and 1913 Depredussin racer. 1/48 Scratchbuilt Sopwith swallow 1/72 Airfix handles page HP O/400 airliner. It's a cool little kit with a challenging set of decals 😇 I did one a while ago and I even managed to get the front wheels steering operational. I gave it the works when it came to weathering.... PeterB Posted November 29, 2022 Share Posted November 29, 2022 (edited) Back in the early 1960's I build the old Frog Fairey Delta 2 - not very well. In 2019 when I started my very first GB, the Frog Classic, I saw a fellow modeller Ash @Doccur build a really spectacular version of the same kit in pink with special details and that got me to thinking. I thought I had thrown mine away but eventually found it in one of my attics and decided to refurbish it. Both Ash and I had opted for wheels up and whilst my wheels and legs were long gone, he still had his which he very kindly sent me. The decs are either home made or from the spares box and I could not manage to get/make a tapered fin flash but it turned out a lot better than it had been first time round. I managed to correct the position of the cockpit side windows and added a couple of whip aerials. Of course it is nowhere near as spectacular looking as Ash's build but I am pleased with it.
