Whofan
Watching the C-17 bringing the Queen;s coffin to Northolt earlier I noticed it had 4, extremely bright, landing lights on as it descended through the rainy murk. One each on the wingtip, and one either side of the nose. I was most impressed by how bright they were. On taxiing, I noticed also a light in the fuselage shining out to wards the wing tip. Is this festoon of lights recent, or have C-17's always had them?
