Roman Schilhart Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 Dear fellow Britmodellers, this is my 1/72 Hasegawa SdKfz 251 Ausf.D, painted with Mr.Hobby acrylics. Photographs by Wolfgang Rabel. The Hasegawa kit was first released in 1999 and does not hold up well against the Dragon kit, which has far better detailling on the inside. I converted the SdKfz 251/1 Ausf.D model kit to a battlefield ambulance, using Sandsmodels resin tarpaulin (to hide the missing interior detail) and decals from Aleran Miniatures ((MS-1). Thank you for your interest, best greetings from Lower Austria, Roman 19
sandsmodels Posted September 11, 2022 Posted September 11, 2022 excellent work considering the tarp was designed for no specific 251 it fits quite well. great paint job.
Bertie McBoatface Posted September 12, 2022 Posted September 12, 2022 Smartly built and unusual. I like the mud and grime on the lower areas.
Model Mate Posted September 13, 2022 Posted September 13, 2022 super camo for the tiny scale, and great weathering - really nice all round.
