Looks terrific!

Thanks Adrian,

she’s coming along, I’ve finished weathering and added a greeney blue colour to the front of the aircraft. I think I’m about ready to start poring.

got some temporary sides put on ready to pour, I coated the sides with PVA which should hopefully allow me to peel off without much loss.

All the grit and dirt looks great :) What're you planning to use for the water?

James

Thanks James,

I’m using Woodland scenics single pour realistic water.

This is a very interesting build to me. I like the idea and the execution. Very creative modelling.

I've placed a link to it in the Entropy GB thread so that we can all learn something. 😀

Cheers,

wow thanks for the re post, looking at the thread it would be right at home in that GB.

I wasn't sure where this was heading but now, I'm impressed. Maybe not something I'd want to tackle but I can still recognise the skill that is going into this. 👍

Steve.

cheers Steve,

it’s all coming along nicely, fingers crossed the water effect drys quickly.

Davy Jones’ Lightning… the underwater feel looks spot on!

Thanks Adrian,

I did a bit of mixing to get the right colour but with a green and light aircraft blue.

Excellent! All it needs now is some discarded chip paper and a belligerent seagull to add the authenticity of a British seaside scene ;)

Looks wonderfully murky!

Cheers Adrian, there may a little more murk than on the finished build as the Woodland Scenics water is murky and drys clear. hopefully my blue colour I sprayed on will shine through.

It’s looking great, just like your initial ref pic…. Most satisfying job ever will be peeling that barrier off!

thanks Muchmirth,

it will be very satisfying to peel it off, I may just keep it on a little longer just to make sure its all set. I've got till midnight on Sunday 😆

That's a great result, Ozzy :) This one's definitely a unique build, but I really like it. I'm tempted to have a go at something similar myself...
