CarLos
Not the best kit in town. I'm building the Orion, and with some work I'll get there. Carlos

rob Lyttle
Wow.... Good luck with this one! 😳 I mean, I think you should have a go, hone your modelling skills, and see what you can make of it. There's so little reward to be had in assembling a "shake n bake" superkit I've applied myself to a few old crock kits and given them my best shot. They're not going to win any competitions..... Are you familiar with the Airfix Grumman Gosling, for example? 🤩🤣 The reason I took a look at this thread is I've embarked on the L10 kit by Special Hobby. One of their early products with a short run feel and a couple of issues to sort. But definitely a breeze by comparison to this item. But I love a Lockheed Twin and this little plane is the ancestor of them all
rob Lyttle
Erm..... I just had another look at the sprue pictures etc..... And I'm having 2nd thoughts..... 😳 That is scary. I'd understand if you want to spend your time on something else.!
k5054nz
I saw the thread and thought "I'd love to give it a go!" I saw the sprue shots and...well, second thoughts seems too mild! There are definitely easier ways to get an Electra but if you have some short run experience under your belt I say give it a go. Dare I offer to take it off your hands...? Speaking as a fellow human I think you need professional help and soon Never built that one but I approached Merlin kits as an 'assisted scratch-build'. Way back when a guy in the club I was a member of built most of them as an easy project compared to his usual plank-on-frame sailing ships He certainly needed help too. I hope you go for it and will have popcorn at the ready.
