Ratch
I've opted to build the new Airfix Austin K2/Y Ambulance in her Ice Cold In Alex markings. Painted with Vallejo and Humbrol paints with a Mig filter. With four figures added. A1375 Katy (17) I'd build another. Thanks for looking. stevehnz
Nice one Ratch, you've made it look really good. I've elevated this to a need. I really should because my Dad was a RAMC doctor in North Africa & no doubt he was very familiar with these wagons. Steve. 3
fatfingers
Nicely done Ratch. Currently putting this one together and it's a nice build thus far. Will be going for the XXX Corp markings myself. Regards, Steve

ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Ratch, Katy's looking very good, a nice figure. That field ambulance is very well done too. Or was Katy the ambulance? 🤔 I didn't see the film although the name sounds familiar. Regards, Jeff.
SoftScience
That's really good, Ratch. One of your best, to date. By an order of magnitude. Seriously nice job.

noelh
Very nice indeed. A 1/35 kit of Katy was a long time coming. But it was 'worth waiting for!' 🍺 😁 Edited August 31, 2022 by noelh

Hairtrigger
Great result. I'm struggling with the fit of the cab and roof very gappy on dry fitting.
Bullbasket
Very nice. I can just see John Mills and Anthony Quayle sitting in the cab. Great job. John.

Hairtrigger
Hi Ratch. See you mention the roof decal problematic... I've found all the decals on this unusable the shrivel and fall apart. Yep know all the decal tricks, but these just not right .. Airfix can't supply replacements as none in stock... It's a new model not impressed with their aftercare. Sub standard decals not cartograph.. Shame as all built roof sorted .... Best regards
