gunpowder17
Im seriously considering build my HK lancaster as either an all over grey version or the white and grey version. Basically an MR3. Does anyone know what the interior colour would be? would it have just carried over from the wartime ones with green and black or would it have been all black inside? Maverick231
I'd be interested to know aswell as I have a Revell 1/72 Lanc intended as a Coastal Command Lanc!
woody37
From what I can see, the Lincoln rear interiors were green just like Lancasters so I would doubt the interior of the CC aircraft would be any different. I guess the front would be black which is typical of late Lancs and Lincolns unless any were modified from early Lancs.
Graham Boak
It may be worth checking whether any of these were fitted with the deeper tropical intakes as were the Far East/Tiger Fprce aircraft. (if n ot in Airfix's world).. These appear to be quite common postwar (unsurprisingly).
Mike Starmer
The ASR Lancaster I went into at Horsham St. Faith in 1958 or 59 was the standard interior green in the main fuselage and black in the cockpit and crew areas.
