Buzz by Ryanair 737 MAX 8200 (Ryanair Sun, Zvezda 1/144)

Recommended Posts

My latest project, a being 737 MAX 8200 in the livery of Buzz, a Polish subsidiary of Ryanair, formerly known as Ryanair Sun. I've always enjoyed the demented bee on the fin, and have flown with them once. The kit is the Zvezda MAX 8, with the windows filled and repositioned to replicate the higher density MAX 8200. I also had to raise the landing gear to replicate the MAX's higher ground clearance, as the kit seems to have the NG's lower gear. Painted with a mix of Humbrol and Plastikote spray cans, varnish and acrylic pots.  Went for a much more showroom finish than usual, but VERY pleased with the result. Excellent decals from 26 decals. The shelf is now full! Suggestions on a narrowbody to do next?

Excellent result. Well done.

If you are looking for a smaller model for your next project how about one of the Bombardier CRJ family from Big Plane Kits (BPK)? Hannants have the -700 and -900 in stock. Just make sure you order the 1/144 version, not the 1/72 one! There are several different liveries available from Nazca and Authentic Airliner decals have the necessary windows.

Very nice-looking MAX! And respects for conversion to 8200 version and for correct lenght of chassis.
Excelent result, and also you have a lovely collection of civil liners👍

Congratulations!

In our days there is not so many types of planes are operated… in comparison with 1960-1970’s.

you have 737, 320 and ERJ on the shelve.

So may be SSJ, TU-134, -154, -204 - all this kits from Zvezda and they are as qualitative as 737 or 320.
Or another option for you is oldtimers like Comet, Caravelle, early Iloishins or TU etc. But this kits are rare, often made from resin, and not so easy to purchase…
