Great job Chris Thanks Chris, The thing is so flaming big that I needed to wait until I had a fair bit of time off to get it done properly. Some Mr. Surfacer has been applied to the seams and I'll get some more paint on tomorrow. Cheers, Alistair
AliGauld
Seam work done along with some PPP for the canopy. As I was out in the garage I thought it was about time that some real colour was flung about the place. If I manage I'll get some more primer on the fuselage and see how the seams look. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

To be fair, I think this one is destined to be a Scharnhorst attack Swordfish so technically the deadline doesn’t land next week. But, having said that, now the primer is on (and looks very nice too) and as long as Alistair doesn’t apply his patented “Sunderland Practice Paint Process [TM]” and he maintains his usual frenetic pace it could still be done by the 10th. 1
AliGauld
Not much to update here I'm afraid. Some preshading and mottling done. If the flaming rain keeps off there will be more tomorrow. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair

Winded Penguin
This project is looking super nice already. Following your efforts, I've found myself starting to watch Swordfish videos on Youtube 😉

AliGauld
As it turns out this was the last of my ColourCoats Sky Type S. Of course the reason it was the last was that I spilled an entire pot in the garage on Saturday but thought I still had 2 spare so wasn't bothered. Turns out it was only 1 spare so a scrambled order was sent to those excellent people at Sovereign Hobbies and if I get lucky it will be here on Wednesday if not then I'll just have to wait. Thanks for looking, Cheers, Alistair 6 1

Interesting range they have 👍 They have a great range and their paints are some of the best I've ever used. When used with their thinners they are touch dry and maskable in about 10 minutes depending on the colour. You may have noticed I'm a bit of a fan. 4
