Biggles87
There’s nothing wrong with blowing on the prop, we all do it don’t we? I trust you made Griffon rather than Merlin noises. Looking really good. John.

Of course John, in my head it was a Griffon noise, but most likely sounded the same as most of the other aircraft noises when I make a test flight around the mancave!!! Yes Roger the Shagbat will be back on along with a Hawker Nimrod and Sea Hurricane , the latter two are 1/32nd scale. 11 hours ago, Fritag said: Lovely restrained and realistic finishing work, Chris. Thanks Steve, looking forward to getting the Matt coat on to see how that finishes it. 9 hours ago, Geo1966 said: Hi Chris, its looking fantastic! What do you use to do your panel lines please? George Thanks George, I use artists oil paints mixed with white spirit to thin so the flow well along the panel lines . I use a mix of black and raw umberto make a very dark brown, it's applied using a thin brush and capillary action helps . The gloss coat that is applied over is Johnsons Klear or Future. I use enamels for my main coats, brushed on. 26 minutes ago, Biggles87 said: Wot they all said. John.
