There’s nothing wrong with blowing on the prop, we all do it don’t we? I trust you made Griffon rather than Merlin noises. 😜

Looking really good.

John. 🇺🇦

😄Of course John, in my head it was a Griffon noise, but most likely sounded the same as most of the other aircraft noises 🤪 when I make a test flight around the mancave!!!😉😄

Might be😉!!! Yes Roger the Shagbat will be back on along with a Hawker Nimrod and Sea Hurricane , the latter two are 1/32nd scale.

Lovely restrained and realistic finishing work, Chris.

Thanks Steve, looking forward to getting

the Matt coat on to see how that finishes it.

Thanks George, I use artists oil paints mixed with white spirit to thin so the flow well along the panel lines .  I use a mix of black and raw umberto make a very dark brown, it's applied using a thin brush and capillary action helps .  The gloss coat that is applied over is Johnsons Klear or Future.  I use enamels for my main coats, brushed on.

Dennis

Thanks Dennis, very kind too. I am pleased with how it's  turning out.  I know not your preferred scale, but I do have a few 32nd scale Spitfires in the stash to build and convert too.

Thanks everyone
