Closer to what it actually would have been if they put it into war, but a lot less interesting compared to what it was before restoration.


Isn’t that the wooden replica built by Northrop? They made a TV show about it. I believe its free to view on Prime

Interesting... I really need to pay it a visit since I'm in the very same city as this replica. It seems that they bought the narrative that the fly wing design plus the plywood coal dust coating was for stealth, and did some RCS testing with this replica.

Its hanging from the ceiling in the San Diego Air & Space Museum

A pretty heat-resisting one too, given that the pilot is directly seated between the two Jumo 004 engines without any shielding.

I wonder if the Wolfenstein franchise took any inspirations from this Ho-229 test pilot when creating the Ubersoldaten.
