Rémi
Hi all Because I haven't any motivation to pursuit my SIAI 260, I decided to start another kit This time I choosed the Meteor NF Mk14 from Special Hobby I already build au Special Hobby NF Meteor and kept a well remember. There are no reason that the NF 14 will diffirent I started the build with the cockpit The details for the scale are very impressive It need only a good paint The panels side THe cockpit floor and the panels side The rear bulk and the panel instrument
Lord Riot
That’s an excellent start. It certainly looks a much better cockpit than in the Matchbox one.
billn53
Oh yes! Another of the “must build” kits in my stash. Someday I’ll actually get to it, and now I know where to look for tips on building it properly.
Rémi
The cockpit is in place in the fuselage No difficulty at this point I added a 8 grammes weight in the noise. Now I can paint the engines I can stat to add the wings for verifying the adjustment And paint the wheels bays

binbrook87
Take care with the internal engine wing blanking plates etc. On my NF12 I found them a tight fit and not clear how they fitted. Took a bit of fettling to get the wing assembly to button up
Rémi
I choosed this one 5
Rémi
For the wing, I didn't encounter any major problem You need to fill the engine nacelle, the exhaust and air intake But nothing impossible to make After the wing preparation, I can glue it to the fuselage I sanded the front junction and added a little spacer to the rear I have a little filling to make between the intrado and the fuselage
Navy Bird
Beautiful work - I really like your painting technique to make that black cockpit pop! Is that all dry-brushing for the highlights, or something else? Cheers, Bill
Rémi
Yes for the cockpit I used the dry-brush technique
Rémi
letting my SIA 260 in one side of my table, I painted the scheme of my Meteor I need to repaint the upper grey zone at the place of fuselage junction. The paint was some reactions at this place because junction is not see in the green zone

The results you show are really pleasing to my eye 👍 I pre shadded all the meteor After I painted the gray on the center panels, I spayed the grey for mitagate the pre shading. The grey sprayed at this time has a great dillution to control the fadding of the pre shadded For the green, I sprayed a firs layer without the pre shadded. After I pre shadded all panel lines and I sprayed another layer of the green with a great dillution 1

KingTiger435
Really nice work, loving it May I ask, how did you do the intakes? I have the NF.12 kit and the intakes don't fit properly, do you happen to have any photos of how you did it?
