mick b
Sad news indeed, I recall getting his illustrated co-authored book about The Red Baron from my local library as a kid decades ago. Mike
bentwaters81tfw
When the Wind Blows. Says so much about leadership incompetence. Sad when we lose such clever talent. R.I.P Raymond.
RichG
I watched "Ethel & Ernest" this evening. A hand-drawn animated film, voiced by Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent and others. It's based on a 1998 graphic novel by Raymond Briggs. It tells the story of the lives of Briggs' parents from their first meeting in 1928 to their deaths in 1971. Incredibly poignant. A unique talent. RIP Rich
IanC
Yes, very sad news. I saw 'When the Wind Blows' on stage and don't think I've seen a more moving piece of theatre.
Lightningboy2000
R.I.P. Raymond Briggs. What a brilliant man. Had such a huge influence on the anti nuclear movement during the 80's. Being a big music fan notably "Mothers Talk by Tears For Fears directly referenced When The Wind Blows.
