MRCA Tornado cockpits

I really love the Panavia  MRCA Tornado !!!

I understand for sure some secret aspects of the aircraft mainly military aircraft and  respective  projects, so if that manufacturer  says its aircraft is under sonic, bad armed, weak, I believe,  since I am not even an specialist or spy. 

Well, in this way of thinking,  I would dare to ask here for declassified pictures of the Tornado's MRCA  cockpits and other detais useful ito building an accurate Panavia MRCA Tornado.

You need to be more specific: which operator, which sub-type and when.  The cockpits of most of the prototypes were very different to the production aeroplanes, the ADVs were different to the GR/ECR/IDS and within the GR (RAF) fleet the GR. 1s were different to the GR. 4s. Aircraft fitted for the various Gulf and Afgan conflicts had extra countermeasures kit added and the 11 Squadron F. 3s were fitted for ALARM in the SEAD role.  

The walkaround images are a great resource but they are literally a snapshot of one moment in time.

There are also some great books available that illustrate Tornado cockpits in considerable detail. A couple I can recommend for detail are:

 

Panavia Tornado: Aircraft in Detail: DH-005 (Duke Hawkins)  ISBN-13 ‏ : ‎ 978-2960248845

A close-up of the Panavia Tornado. It is packed with over 330 color photos of every aspect of the jet. It shows the Tornado GR4, GR4a, IDS, ECR. A separate chapter shows the Tornado F3. Includes cockpit, maintenance, weapons, landing gear, avionics, and more.

 

Panavia Tornado No.1 (Fox Two detail & markings) by Andreas Klein and Christian Gerard ISB: 978-3-935687-17-1. It covers German Tornado in full detail. Plus, as a bonus it comes with full detail drawings in 1/48. Text in German and English and for the most part very informative.  It is no fault of the Authors who are entirely focussed on the German operated airframes. It's still veryuseful to anyone building a Tornado from any of the operating nations.

 

 

The Duke Hwakins series book is the more recently published and therefore likely to be more readly available.

I am pretty certain the FoxTwo title was still available at AirDoc/shopofphantoms when I had a look around a couple of weeks ago. It's a great booklet.

 

In addition, if you are after the prototypes/early aircraft, I heartily recommend (again) the book by Francis Mason published ca. 1985 at IIRC PSL (there was a similar title by Alfrd Price at Ian Allan at around the same time). Not sure how many cockpit pics are included, but IIRC there were a number. This book used to be cheap as chips on the 2nd hand market.

Also valuable are Aeroguides 4 and 24, which cover the GR.1 very early after a couple of years service, respectively, including dedicated cockpit sections.
