I had a choice to get that or the Blue Angels A-4 kit, I chose the A-4. I thought I'd go back and snag the F-5 kit the next payday, but someone beat me to it. I think I paid the princely sum of $15 for it and built it right away. Now they're going for $80 or more plus shipping on eBay, This one looks great! Alan P
Just a quick question as @trickyrich left us hanging in the Rules post... UberDaveToo
I reckon it's time to become official with this: Since I'm Air Force, it seems the way to go. Not to mention, it's right righteously LARGE. And plenty of parts. Should be fun! I throw in with this one too, I need an excuse to build it, not so many parts at first glance. ...Unless you buy some, which I did. And decals too. Even more fun! So count me in... Dave

Yes folks the time is nigh, time to bring out the BIG ones! I hope you've cleaned up the bench as you're going to need all the space you have......steal the kitchen table if you have to! The fun and games are about to start! 2
Redstaff
Nearly there now before "Lights out and away we go" in F1 speak Bench cleared then messed up again doing a little DIY job, so another tidy after work will be needed before making a start cutting plastic and priming hopefully tomorrow. It's funny how things tend to naturally gravitate towards an empty surface until that becomes as cluttered as everywhere else 🤣 I've had a good look at the parts and started a paint sequence and assembly plan and there seems to be a few ejector pin marks that will need filling, but very little, if any flash by the looks of it Will need to organise some small assembly storage for the bits and bobs that will be painted before assembly, as it looks like loads of prep, then assembly for each section, a lot of bits are handed as well, so labelling will be a must I think as there will be so many smallish parts Ian

FG2Si
Just need to clear the bench a bit. There's 1/32 Tomcat ejection seats all over the place at the moment. This one is I'm fairly certain below the 25% completion threshold so I may enter it here as well.
JohnT
I’ve tried to select a decent “simple” (is there such an animal?) kit so will be doing a 1/32 Revell Hunter F6 with some selected AM. If that work out the next kit scheduled for a build anyway is my effort to backdate the Trumpy 1/32 Thud using the Cutting Edge AM plus other bits. That won’t be finished by the end of the GB but hopefully a start done 3
trickyrich
We folks the fun and games is underway!!! Good luck to everyone with their builds. I look forward to following them all and seeing them in the gallery. Plus it is super good to see how many have plans for a 2nd build as well. To those sitting on the side lines, go ahead and drag out that beast of a model and join in the fun, nd remember you have 6 months to complete the build.....plenty of time!

Mancunian airman
I think I would like to come in with this although I have a few smaller scale builds on the bench at the mo . . . It will become part of my 32nd scale Lancaster diorama . . . Ian

LDSModeller
Hi Group Build Mods, @trickyrich @Stew Dapple @galgos I have been checking out this GB for a time now, and got the Build mojo running to build some thing large, given I have a number in my stash. I am wondering if I might be allowed entry into this GB? I have the following somewhat started but I think under the 25% threshold Revell Spitfire building a Mk IB Done thus far Matchbox SBD 5 Dauntless - as RNZAF SBD Done thus far Revell F4U-1 (building as a an RNZAF F4U-1D) Done thus far Let me know what you think, given the 6 month length, I can get at least one done Thanks Alan
galgos
All under the 25% completion threshold to my eyes…..so take your pick andWELCOME! Have fun, that’s what it’s about.
Mjwomack
Personally I don't mind if you build them all. Though @Enzo the Magnificentwill have an opinion, but please start with the dauntless 😁
